Embodied Goddess: A Bellydance Journey with Sultana Taj

Step into a sacred space of movement, rhythm, healing and self-discovery!

In this somatic women’s circle, Sultana Taj will guide you through the foundations of bellydance, weaving together sensuality, goddess energy and mind-body connection.  Through intentional movement, breath-work, and connection to your body, you will release stored tension, awaken your divine feminine essence, and cultivate self-expression.  Accompanied by great music, we will definitely have a joyful and fun evening of sisterhood!

This class includes:

• a grounding warm-up to open energy channels and set intentions
• fundamental bellydance movements with a focus on fluidity, accents, and musicality
• exploration of sensual expression as a source of joy and empowerment
• a short, soulful choreography embodying themes of strength, beauty and transformation
• closing reflection and sisterhood connection.

No prior dance experience is needed!  Just come with an open heart and a willingness to move!

Sultana Taj has taught and performed belly dancing for many years in the NJ / NY area, and brings a loving presence to her craft.
