Join us in a celebration of figurative art! Every Tuesday evening The Space holds an open studio figure drawing and painting session, and this yearly group exhibit is for the community. Anyone who has come to a Tuesday session within the last year is allowed to participate. The show is diverse, non-juried, and a great way to meet and interact with the arts community.

Sunday Figure Sessions
Tuesday Night Sessions – Sunday Edition
Sunday afternoon long pose figure drawing and painting
June 28, 1 – 5 pm
$10 per hour, or $35 for the 4 hour session.
Join us for a monthly Sunday figure session, where we get to draw and paint from life for an extended time. It is a single pose with a clothed model for a 4 hour session. You can come for an hour or two to practice your sketching, or stay for the entire afternoon to create a more detailed study. Priority spots will be given to full session ticket holders, so get your tickets in advance to secure a spot. There will also be plenty of room for drop-ins, and this is definitely open to all skill levels. Bring your materials of choice – drawing supplies or paints, its up to you. Come for the good music and the great people!

The Business of Art
Bi-monthly series to be announced soon.
We had a great opening panel discussion of this series called The Business of Art a couple months ago. It showed us that there is a real need among artists who are ready to grow their art practice to get together and hear from the experts. We are still crafting the best experience for the community, and partnering with the best experts to offer the most insightful conversations. The series will launch in the fall, so stay tuned!

Find a beautifully curated selection of artisan handmade jewelry from around the world. Now we’ve added a small selection of art supplies including gouache sets, Fabriano drawing pads and mixed media pads.

These weekly drawing sessions from a nude model offer a creative and dynamic environment for artists of all levels to explore the human form. Bring your own materials of choice, pick a spot and get into the flow of your own creativity. A different model is available every week, and easels, tables and chairs are provided as well as good music and vibes.

Mission Statement
The Space is a forum for creative expansion and expression. We are an art gallery that holds art classes, open mic nights, artist talks, exhibit openings, healing circles, live music events, meditation and wellness events, and jewelry markets. The Space is located on the second floor of a historic building, accessible via a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access at this time. This means we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or guests with significant mobility challenges. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
