He is cherished in the local community for his vibrant pastel landscapes and portraits, but these new works show a deeper side to his outlook on life. Fernando’s work speaks to displacement, poverty and joy, and the process of seeking and finding.
He is a master of pastels, so be sure to join us for his workshop. So much can be learned from his fearless technique.

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the vivid, expressive world of Peruvian-born artist Fernando Mariscal . He is cherished in the local community for his vibrant pastel landscapes and portraits. For this solo exhibit, Fernando is proudly unveiling a new body of work that is unexpected and bold. He will do a live painting demonstration during the opening. A pastel portrait workshop is also not to be missed!

Sunday, May 10, 2 – 4pm
Join us for a deeply restorative sound bath and chakra balancing experience followed by intuitive art making. We honor the energy of the cosmos on May 10 – a beautiful day that carries both the nurturing essence of Mother’s Day and a collective invitation to soften, receive, reconnect and bring forth the creative fire in all of us.

Every Tuesday, 7 – 9:30 pm, $20 pay in advance or in person
These weekly drawing sessions from a nude model offer a creative and dynamic environment for artists of all levels to explore the human form. Bring your own materials of choice, pick a spot and get into the flow of your own creativity. A different model is available every week, and easels, tables and chairs are provided as well as good music and vibes.

The Shop is open during regular gallery hours:
Thursday through Sunday 12 – 6 pm
Jewelry is art, and we love having it here at the Space. The Shop regularly carries Manifest Design, Anahata, We Dream in Colour, and Ariana Boussard Reifle. Plus we host special pop-ups with local jewelry and fashion designers throughout the year.

Give the gift of a creative experience at the Space. They can be used toward any event, class and even jewelry in the Shop.
Mission Statement
The Space is a forum for creative expansion and expression. We are an art gallery that holds art classes, open mic nights, artist talks, exhibit openings, healing circles, live music events, meditation and wellness events, and jewelry markets. The Space is a welcoming environment for us all to explore and witness the creative spirit. Read more

The Space is located on the second floor of a historic building, accessible via a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access at this time. This means we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or guests with significant mobility challenges. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
