The Eighth Dimension – Where the Mind Meets the Ocean: A Meditative Immersive Experience

The Eighth Dimension is a meditative immersive experience that submerges you in an underwater dimension crafted in real time from the brainwaves of those who visit it.

Filled with intricate paper-cut sculptures, floor-to-ceiling projection mapping, and an everchanging soundscape, you will experience the ocean surge or calm around in tune with your brainwaves as you meditate. All of this is made possible by wireless EEG headbands, whose live data is used to craft the floor-to-ceiling projection mapping in real time. At the end of your meditation, you can tap your phone to receive a message personalized by your brainwaves, and a digital analysis of your brainwaves. You will witness firsthand how the experience shapes and deepens your inner calm.

• Intricate Paper Ocean: Meditate surrounded by hand-crafted larger-than-life paper-cut sculptures that shimmer and glow as they drift in a dynamic seascape created with floor-to-ceiling projection mapping.
• Breathwork Meditation: Sit or lie down in the midst of the waves as you are guided through a breathwork meditation workshop that calms your mind as the ocean calms around you.
• Live Brainwave Data: By wearing a wireless EEG headband during your meditation, your brainwaves will influence in real time the crashing waves of the ocean environment around you as they touch and are touched by the waves of those beside you.
• Message and Brainwave Reading: After your meditation, tap your phone to receive a personalized message and explanation of your brainwaves during your meditation.

Ticket Information: 

Tickets are available for guided breathwork meditation workshops in 30-minute or 1-hour time slots. Extended tickets are only available for the 1-hour time slots – 2x the time at only 1.5x the cost!

• Extended Guided Breathwork Meditation Workshop ($45 for adults, $30 for seniors/students)
  Put on an EEG headband, choose a comfortable position (seated or lying down), and calm both your mind and the ocean around you through an extended 45-minute guided breathwork meditation. After the session, tap your phone on the seashell in front of you to receive a personalized message generated from your unique brainwave activity, and a report and explanation of your brainwaves during your meditation. Spend plenty of time asking us any questions you might have about your brainwaves.
• Guided Breathwork Meditation Workshop ($30 for adults, $18 for seniors/students, $15 for children)
  Put on an EEG headband, choose a comfortable position (seated or lying down), and calm both your mind and the ocean around you through a 20-minute guided breathwork meditation. After the session, tap your phone on the seashell in front of you to receive a personalized message generated from your unique brainwave activity, and a report and explanation of your brainwaves during your meditation. Ask us any questions you might have about your brainwaves.
• Viewing Only ($5)
  Experience the installation at your own pace. You’re welcome to meditate on your own if you wish.

Notes: 

• Please arrive a few minutes before your listed ticket time to ensure there is enough time for you to get set up with your EEG headband.
• Tie up your hair and clear space behind your ears and forehead for optimal data reading.
• Wear comfortable clothing, as you may be lying down or seated in a meditation pose.
• Feel free to take pictures and videos, but please refrain from being in the space while others are meditating.

• Recommended for individuals aged 7 and above.
