Are you ready to relax? Do you need to recharge? Join Ben Diamond (@bendiamond.co) for a beautiful hour of rest and recovery under the New Moon. We will explore the power of mantra and chanting before shifting into a sonic journey. Come prepared to allow your voice to express itself!
Please arrive between 9:35-9:55am. In order to maintain the peace and tranquility of the sound, those arriving more than 10 minutes late are kindly asked to attend a future event.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket(s), pillows, and any other items that will help you be comfortable during the hour. People often choose to lie on the floor during a sound bath, but you are also welcome to sit in an available chair if you need. Some yoga mats and blankets are available if you don’t have them.
THE SCIENCE OF SOUND
Science shows that sound and vibration can directly influence the parasympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system works in opposition to our sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the “fight or flight” response.
Engaging the parasympathetic nervous system leads to a relaxation response by stimulating the body’s natural “rest and digest” functions through the vibrations resonating within the body, effectively calming the nervous system when exposed to specific frequencies or sounds.

Ben is a multi-instrumental sound practitioner and student, exploring the intersections of science, spirit and energy to heal and bring our bodies into a natural state of ease and wellbeing. He has trained with Shervin Boolorian of Sound Healing Bali.
