Our Meditate and Create series is a great way tap into your creative energy. The idea is to quiet the mind, get centered in your self, and then move into an art exercise to let the creativity flow. Maybe you’re an artist experiencing a creative block, feeling a lack of inspiration, or just want to try a guided art exercise to challenge how you normally see things. Maybe you’re someone who doesn’t usually make art and you want to engage and explore your creative side. These classes are great for anyone wanting to experience the joy and freedom the creative process can bring.
The class typically starts with a 45 minute meditation. Then we move to a guided art exercise The exercises are drawn from a number of modalities including design thinking, ideation, art therapy, and movement as expression. These are spontaneous exercises created to get you out of your head and into your body. Don’t think too much. Let it flow.
Each class has a different theme and focus. All materials are provided, so you just have to show up with an open mind and spirit.
