What to Bring: A collection of personal “found objects” that speak to you.
Join us for a unique workshop where we’ll transform found objects into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
This isn’t about following a pattern or painting a picture. It’s about letting the objects tell a story—your story. We’ll guide you through the process of arranging and affixing your personal treasures to a canvas, helping you create a beautiful, textured piece that holds meaning only to you.
Whether it’s a button from a grandmother’s coat, a ticket stub from a memorable concert, a rusty key, or a seashell from a favorite beach, every object has a history. In this workshop, you’ll learn to see these items as more than just things; you’ll see them as the building blocks of a new, deeply personal narrative.
You can also bring items that not necessarily sentimental. They can be:
Think of colors and textures and how something discarded as trash can be repurposed in a new light.
We will provide the canvas, a variety of adhesives, and all the tools you need. Just bring your objects and an open mind. Come assemble your story with us!
