Bellydance and Henna – a ladies’s evening and fundraiser for FARAH

February 22 @ 6:00 pm9:00 pm

Foundation for Arab American Heritage (FARAH) invites you to celebrate the beauty and joy of Arab dance with a lesson in Raqs Baladi, a type of belly dance common throughout the Arab world. Learn a bit about the history of belly dancing while learning the movement. This vibrant night will also include henna artistry, Arab wine, refreshments and light bites!

FARAH’s mission is to bring people together to celebrate the joy, beauty and diversity of Arab American culture, educate about the heritage and contributions of Arab Americans, and advocate for representation of Arab Americans to achieve a more just and inclusive community. Any funds raised will go towards supporting this mission.

FARAH strives to foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all people. We value the diversity of racial and cultural identity, nationality, sexual and affectionate orientation, gender identity and its expression, religious background and belief, marital status, family structure and educational and class status.
